IT Workplace is a group within the IT department at Uppsala Municipality, responsible for the municipality's identity and access management. One of our most important tools is our in-house developed IAM platform (identity and access management).
Your Mission
You will be part of a group of developers who, together with our system administrators, manage and further develop our IAM platform. You will be responsible for the heart of the municipality's IT deliveries. Your tasks will be very varied. One moment you will handle user requests and changes to our user interface, and the next moment you will work on developing our processes and backend solutions.
You will have an important role in the management and development of our IAM platform. You will collaborate with our service owner and our system administrators.
Your Background
We are looking for someone with a relevant bachelor's or master's degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on system development or other education combined with recent experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have experience in system development work within the last 5 years. We also see that you have experience working as a full-stack developer. The work requires that you have experience in development using Microsoft .NET, C#, and React.
You also have experience in database design and database development (preferably with Microsoft SQL Server), development with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Shell script, agile working methods such as Scrum, and tools like Azure DevOps, as well as IAM, i.e., identity and access management. If you have education/certification in methods and techniques equivalent to Scrum, DevOps, or similar agile methods, both .NET Framework and ASP.NET Core, as well as experience with AD, Entra ID, and the entire Microsoft platform, this is considered an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of integration platforms and service development.
As a person, you are a good analyst who is skilled at seeing connections and solving complex questions and problems. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results.
